Soft, silvery, snow, snuggling the landscape and making everything look perfect, picturesque and magical! Nothing lifts my heart more than freshly fallen snow.

Seeing a kestrel, watching, waiting for something tasty for breakfast!

A Poinsettia it’s bright red leaves brings a lot of colour to the drab dark winter days.

(tried to comment yesterday but not sure why but my comment didn’t appear, lets hope it works this time)

I really can’t say—it might have been the turkey, or it might have been the egg…….

    • Congratulations Clem! We loved your comment and you are today’s ’12 Days of Christmas’ winner! Please contact us by email with your full name and address (we are sending you an email too :)) so that we can send you your prize!

Wow! Thank you! Dodelighted that Lord Dodo, his staff and I share the same sense of humour—I had my first Dodo pad (1973) for Christmas ’72 and have managed to track them down most years since. Merry Christmas!

  5. Lani Young

Frozen puddles. Find out who all the big kids are and watch them try to either crack it or glide across it like a baby deer.

  6. Louise Hall

From mothers natures blessed hand, a hoar frost makes a winter wonderland. Bizarrely called an icy rime…but it doesn’t!

  7. Helen Pye

The beautiful summer sun (if we’re lucky!)
