Dodopadler’s Blog Post: Dodo Wall Pad

Hallooo dear Dodopadlers!  Miss Peabody here!

We here at Dodo Towers love to hear how our friends use and love their Dodo Pad diaries and calendars!  I’m always fascinated by how each Dodopadler adapts the flexible Dodo grid system to their own needs.

Here is a dodelightful example from Kerry, who posted a guest blog on Emma Collins’ Love and Devotion blog.  Kerry’s post Juggling Work and Being a Mum is about, well, the challenges of juggling work and being a mum!

Kerry uses a Dodo Wall Pad calendar to organize her life, along with a Filofax organiser and a spiral notepad to list to-dos.  She uses a very clever colour coding system to allow her to easily see what needs to be done and when.  Brilliant!

Kerry’s post has some fantastic tips on how she keeps it all straight, from work tasks to keeping up on the housework, and all the while making sure her family’s needs don’t fall by the wayside.  She is a very busy woman indeed!

How do you use your Dodo Pad diary?  Would you like to share your Dodo Pad secrets with all of us here at Miss Peabody Writes?  If so, post a comment here and perhaps your Dodo Pad diary could be featured in a future post here on Miss Peabody Writes!  I do so love to hear from you.

Toodle-oo for now!

Spring Cleaning

now 20% off!

Hallooo dear Dodopadlers!  Miss Peabody here!

As the vernal equinox rapidly approaches and the days become noticeably longer, my thoughts turn to spring and the soon-to-be warmer weather.  It’s time for Spring Cleaning here at Dodo Towers!  Time to brush away the cobwebs and air out the interior.  Time too to dust off my Household Stuff Book and get organised!

The Household Stuff Book is absolutely indodispensible for any household.  In fact, I don’t quite know how anyone can do without one in their domicile!  The book is stuffed to the gills with sanity-saving sections for everything a person and/or family needs to keep a household humming along.

The Household Stuff Book has sections for just about every household need imaginable.  It houses a wealth of information such as important numbers (phone and otherwise), and bills (paid and otherwise).  There is a section to help you keep up on the weekly activities of the whole family so you never forget which day is Daisy’s dance class and which is Sam’s swimming lessons. There’s also a section for annual reminders so those insurance renewals don’t creep up and surprise you any more.

There’s a place to record all those home details such as what colour paint you used on the bathroom walls as opposed to the sitting room (now which was Eggshell and which was Ecru?), measurements to fit window dressings, and household inventories.  And there are plenty of pockets for bills, receipts, appliance warranties and the like for safe keeping and easy reference.

There are also sections to plan and record all of those wonderful events that make a house a home: holidays, birthdays, Christmas preparations and more.  Plan those parties and compile those card lists in plenty of time to be enjoyed by all!

The Household Stuff Book houses all your stuff in one easy to access location, so there’s no more forgetting where you put that paint sample, stowed that card, or jotted that number.  It brings domestic bliss!

And now until March 31st, you can get 20% off the Dodo Household Stuff Book!  Just enter code 09ES at checkout.

So don’t delay, get your household in order and you’ll be on your way to a happy spring!

What sort of springtime preparations are you up to these days?  Do post a comment and tell us all about it!

Toodle-oo for now!
